Nine residents had been fighting for the demolition since 2018, claiming that these constructions were not part of the plan when the society was handed over to them in 2007; developer to appeal verdict

 

Majority of the builder/developers forms Association of Apartments (Condominium). Most of the time buyer is ignorant about it. Flat buyers mistake Condominium as a Cooperative Housing Society. Thus, get trapped into Condominiums. Every political party says that educated people shall come into politics. This time we decided to offer our candidature to the political parties. We went to all the political parties, and requested them to give 2 candidates from housing societies. However except for Shiv Sena (who gave 3 candidates from housing societies namely 28A- Deepak Nagargoje,  28C - Mrs. Anita Tutare & 28D - Mr. Rajesh patil), the two other political parties namely BJP and NCP, did not give any candidates from housing society. It is this decisions on part of the politial parties, which made us give our own independent Panel from housing societies (28A-Mr. Sandeep Deore, 28B- Mrs. Kamaljeet Kaur, 28C-Mrs. Indu Suryavanshi & 8D-Adv. Lalit Kumar Jhunjhunwala).   

We have many pending issues, such as there is scarcity of water every summer, our housing societies spend lakhs of rupees every month on Water Tankers, this situation needs to change. It is not that tnakers get water from some remote area, they get water from either D-Ward office or from the Wells which located in the societies only. Please think if tankers can get water, why the same is not provided to the societies ? Apart from water undeveloped amenities such as Garden / Vegetable Market / Play Ground / Home for home less/School are a major issue. We have developed as concrete jungle, devoid of amenities which are required fro the purpose of quality living. We are sure we will be able to delivered within limited time frame of 60 months.   

This is democracy and ultimately people are the judge who will decide the future of the contesting candidates. For us wining or losing is not of much importance, what is important is that educated people despite of all odds have come till here and are contesting elections. We are ready to work with the other candidates and parties, irrespective of the fact, weather we win or loose. It is for the other candidates to decide weather they want to work with us, if they win or loose. This movement of people, in itself is so powerful that it can not be defeated by any pressure of any nature whatsoever.   

With respect, we differ from the line of though which is reflected int he question put forth by you. The idea behind PSRDF (Pimple Saudagar Rahatani Development Forum) was to promote leadership from within the societies who form 70% of the electorate from Ward No. 28. When we went to three different parties, and they would have accepted our offer, we ere going to fight against each other only. The idea was that no matter which party came to power, we would have got our representative on board. With only Shiv Sena giving us candidature, we all people at the forum were of one view that since two of the other parties have refused to even recognize our existence, we must give our independent panel to contest. The decision was unanimous and we have come this far.  

Is PSRDF is having agenda for only the locality or you are looking beyond this and looking forward to playing bigger role in city politics.

We definitely want resident so fother areas, such as Wakad, Pimple Nilakh, Thergaon, Moshi, Ravet, Viman Nagar, Model Colony, Kothrud come forward to contest next elections. The idea is simple, If we want to change the politics and the way governance is handled, we must get into it and sort it out. We can not remain a by-stander with the hope that someone else will clean tings up for us. We already have over 100 request from various area to help them understand the process, so that the residents can contest the elections of 2022.

 

एमपीसी न्यूज - राजकारण व निवडणुकीच्या ठरलेल्या मर्यादा मोडत, यावेळी फक्त मतदानच करायचे नाही तर निवडणुकीच्या रिंगणात उतरायचे असा निर्धार करत पिंपळे सौदागर येथील 130 सोसायट्या एकत्र आल्या असून त्यांनी चार अपक्ष उमेदवारांचे स्वतंत्र पॅनेल यावेळी रिंगणात उतरवले आहे. या प्रयोगाला मतदारांकडून कसा प्रतिसाद मिळतो, हा शहरात उत्सुकतेचा विषय झाला आहे.

पिंपळे सौदागर परिसरात एकूण 130 हाऊसिंग सोसायट्या आहेत. या सोसायट्या एकत्र येऊन त्यांनी सोसायट्यांचे फेडरेशन देखील  बनविले आहे. या सोसायट्यांमध्ये सुमारे 36 हजार मतदार असल्याचा या फेडरेशनच्या पदाधिका-यांचा दावा आहे. पिंपळे सौदागराचा परिसराचा विकास झाला असला तरी सोसायट्यांचे अनेक प्रश्न अजूनही प्रलंबित आहेत. सोसायट्यांशी संबंधित प्रश्न सोडविण्यासाठी महापालिका पालिका सभागृहात सोसायट्यांचे प्रतिनिधी जाणे आवश्यक असल्याने त्यांनी राजकीय पक्षांना पॅनेलमध्ये किमान दोन उमेदवार देण्याची आग्रही मागणी केली होती. त्याला राष्ट्रवादी काँग्रेस व भाजप या प्रमुख पक्षांकडून प्रतिसाद न मिळाल्याने अखेर चार अपक्ष उमेदवारांचे पॅनेल निवडणूक रिंगणात उतरविण्यात आले आहे. 

सोसायट्यांनी उभ्या केलेल्या पॅनेलमध्ये 'अ' जागेसाठी संदीप देवरे , 'ब'साठी कमलजीत कौर, 'क'साठी इंदु सूर्यवंशी तर 'ड' साठी ललित झुनझुनवाला असे चार अपक्ष उमेदवार निवडणुकीसाठी उभे केले आहेत.

याविषयी एमपीसी न्यूजशी बोलताना सोसायटी पॅनेलमधीलया महिला उमेदवार  कमलजीत कौर म्हणाल्या की, पिंपळे सौदागर येथे सोसायटींचे प्रमाण जास्त आहे. तिथे सुशिक्षित लोकांचे वास्तव्य आहे. मात्र त्यानुसार येथील जुन्या लोकप्रतिनिधींनी कामे केलेली नाहीत. अगदी पाणी, सार्वजनिक शौचालये, उद्याने, खेळाचे मैदान या गोष्टी सुद्धा आम्हाला मिळालेल्या नाहीत. त्यासाठी आम्ही लोकप्रतिनिधींना मागणी केली होती मात्र ती पूर्ण झालेली नाही.

त्यामुळे यावेळी आपणच निवडणूक लढवत जिंकायचे व आपली कामे करवून घ्यायची, असे आम्ही ठरवले आहे. त्यासाठी 130 सोसायटी एकत्र आल्या. त्यातील 11 जणांनी निवडणुकीसाठी उमेदवारीची इच्छा व्यक्त केली होती. त्यातील चार जणांचे आम्ही अपक्ष पॅनल उभे केले आहे, असेही कौर यांनी सांगितले.

उमेदवार ललित झुनझुनवाला म्हणाले की, पिंपळे सौदागर येथील 130 सोसायटींचे एकूण 36 हजार मतदार आहेत.  जे वर्षाला 32 कोटी रुपयांचा मालमत्ता कर भरतात.  मात्र त्यांच्या मागण्या इथे कोणी मान्य करत नाही. आम्हाला आमच्या छोट्या-छोट्या गरजांसाठीही भांडावे लागते. त्यामुळे आम्ही सोसायटींचे प्रतिनिधीत्व करण्यासाठी भाजप, राष्ट्रवादी व शिवसेनेकडे त्यांचे दोन प्रतिनिधी जाहीर करावेत अशी मागणी केली होती. मात्र त्यातील केवळ शिवसेनेने आमची मागणी मान्य केली. त्यामुळे आम्ही आमचेच चार अपक्ष उमेदवार उभे केले आहेत. ते या सुशिक्षित  प्रभागात अगदी प्रचार सुद्धा मतदरांच्या विचारानुसार करत आहेत. ज्यामध्ये व्हॉट्स अॅप, फेसबुक, ट्विटर यांच्या वापरावर भर आहे.  त्यामुळे आम्ही यावेळी नक्की निवडून येऊ , असा विश्वासही  झुनझुनवाला यांनी व्यक्त केला.  

पारंपरिक पद्धतीने निवडणूक लढविण्याऐवजी पिंपळे सौदागर भागातील उच्चभ्रू सोसायट्यांमधील रहिवाशांनी एकत्र येऊन केलेल्या या अभिनव प्रयोगाला मतदारांचा कसा प्रतिसाद मिळतो, याकडे सर्वसामान्यांप्रमाणेच शहरातील राजकीय नेत्यांचेही लक्ष लागले आहे.
